JD's first whole process unmanned warehouse in the world

It is reported that the unattended warehouse is located in the warehouse complex of Jiading District of Shanghai, which belongs to the third phase project of Shanghai Asia No.1 overall planning. The construction area of the logistics center is 40,000 square meters. The main body of the logistics center is composed of four operating systems, including receiving, storage, order picking and packaging.
In the whole process of Jingdong unmanned warehouse, from goods to people to palletizing, bag supply, sorting, and then to package transfer, a variety of robots with different functions and characteristics are applied, and these robots can not only process orders according to the system instructions, but also complete automatic avoidance, path optimization and other work.
In the link of goods warehousing and packing, JD unmanned warehouse is equipped with three different types of six-axis mechanical arms, which are applied in four scenarios: warehousing and packing, picking, mixed palleting and sorting robots providing bags.
In addition, in the sorting field, Jingdong introduced three different models of intelligent handling robots to perform tasks; In the five scenes, JD used 2D visual recognition, 3D visual recognition, and 2.5D visual technology composed of visual technology and infrared ranging, respectively, to install "eyes" for these intelligent robots to realize the active interaction between the machine and the environment.
